Verb Agreement Error
Rule: Use a singular subject with a singular verb and a plural subject with a plural verb. Here are some examples of common errors.
Incorrect: The big dog run.
Correct: The big dog runs.
Incorrect: There was two tree in the front yard, and there was four old cars in the parking.
Correct: There were two trees in the front yard, and there were four old cars in the parking.
Incorrect: Tax accountant have very different tasks to general accountants.
Correct: Tax accountants have very different tasks to general accountants.
